A Little Joy Is Heading Your Way!
“Collect little joys. Keep what glows.”
The Shiny Thing Society is an independently operated kindness project that mails free happy-mail packages — encouraging letters, affirmation cards, and small paper surprises — to people all across the United States.
Always free — no payment, no donation, and no explanation of your circumstances needed.

The Crow writes
Envelopes are stuffed, sealed with a golden stamp, and sent on their way — in limited batches, as funding and supplies allow.
Joy lands
A little glow arrives with the bills and flyers. We hope it makes you smile.
You matter. You deserve kindness. And sometimes the smallest things bring the biggest smiles.

Meet the Society Crow
A small crow with iridescent purple-blue feathers, a tiny crown, and a well-loved lavender scarf. The Society Crow believes that noticing shiny things — a gold button, a paper star, a good laugh — is really about noticing life’s small joys.
When it isn’t delivering happy mail, you’ll find it adding treasures to its collection and writing letters to new friends.
keep the kindness flying
Help Us Send More Smiles
Happy mail is always free for the people who receive it. Optional contributions from kind souls like you help purchase postage, envelopes, printing supplies, and little surprises — so the next envelope can take flight.
The Shiny Thing Society is independently operated and is not currently an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Contributions are voluntary and are not tax-deductible.
